Cabbage Ragi Dosa

Cabbage Ragi Dosa is a wholesome twist on the classic South Indian breakfast. Made with crunchy cabbage and nutritious finger millet flour (ragi), this dosa is crispy, flavorful, and perfect for busy mornings or light dinners. Another variant from the simple cabbage. Ingredients
  • Chiroti rava - 1/2 cup
  • Ragi flour - 1 cup
  • Curds - 3 tbsp
  • Cabbage, shredded - 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves - few
  • Green chilies, finely chopped - 5–6
  • Grated coconut - 2 tsp
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - as required



Method - Fry the grated cabbage in a little oil for 5 minutes. In a bowl, combine chiroti rava, ragi flour and curds. Add the fried cabbage, coriander leaves, green chilies, jeera, salt and grated coconut. Pour in enough water to make a smooth dosa batter. Rest the batter for 15–20 minutes, then prepare dosas on a hot tawa.

Serve Cabbage Ragi Dosa hot with chutney or pickle.

(You can also add finely chopped onion.)

Spinach Dosa / Palak Dosa

Spinach Dosa / Palak Dosa is a healthy, nutritious and filling breakfast. This is a spicy version. Easy to make and enjoyed hot.  A mix of dosa batter with goodness of spinach to give the perfect flavoured, crispy and spicy crepes.

 
Ingredients:
  • Dosa batter 
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil
  • Jeera-1 tsp

To Grind
  • Green chilies-3-4
  • Coconut-2 tbsp
  • Tamarind juice - 1 tbsp
  • Fresh Coriander leaves-1/4 cup
  • Spinach-1 cup
  • (washed and blanched)



Method: 

To begin with grind in mixer the items mentioned in grinding with little water.  Add to the dosa batter. Add salt, jeera. Mix well. Make dosas. Serve Spinach Dosa / Palak Dosa hot with butter or ghee.

(the dosa is spicy and can be enjoyed like that only ) however you can still enjoy with Chutney powder or chutney also.

Reduce the spice and salt as per your taste and preferences.

Mint Vegetable Dosa

Bursting with the aromatic flavors of fresh mint and coriander, and packed with colorful, fresh vegetables, this Mint Vegetable dosa is incredibly nutritious. Whether you're looking for a wholesome breakfast, a light lunch, or a satisfying dinner, this fusion dosa strikes the perfect balance between health and taste. Easy to prepare, it’s a creative way to sneak in greens and veggies !

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Rava Chiroti
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • Few Coriander Leaves
  • Green chillies-2-3
  • Few Pudina/mint leaves
  • Coconut shreds
  • Jeera-1 tsp

Method:

Mix rava and rice flour and salt and water. 
The consistency of batter should be like normal dosa batter.
Keep aside for 1/2 hour. Grind mint, coriander, coconut, 
chilies into a paste. Add it to the dosa batter. Next mix in vegetables, jeera and salt.  Heat a dosa tawa over medium heat.
Once the tawa is hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the center of the tawa.
Spread the batter evenly in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.

Drizzle some oil or ghee around the edges of the dosa

and
cook until the bottom side turns golden brown and crisp.
Flip the dosa and cook till done.

Serve Mint Vegetable Dosa hot with butter and  chutney / chutney pudi/ sauce of your choice  and you’ve got a complete meal that’s both satisfying and nourishing.  Herb-Infused Goodness in Every Bite!

Potato Dosa

Potato Dosa is an unique twist to your traditional dosa. Enjoy this spiced up aloo dosa when you are bored with the ordinary one! It is tasty and delicious.


Ingredients:
  • Dosa batter 2 cup
    Potato Dosa, Aloo Dosa
    Potato Dosa

  • Coriander leaves
  • Jeera-1tsp
  • Oil
For Potato mix
  • Potato boiled and mashed 1 cup
  • Green Chilies-4-5
  • Red chili pwd-1 tsp
  • Salt for taste
  • Oil-1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves-few
  • Jeera-1/2 tsp



Method: Heat a little oil in a pan.  Add the mustard seeds, jeera, once done add green chillies, and fry well. Next add the boiled and mashed potatoes, salt, curry leaves, red chili pwd and mix. Mix thoroughly and cook for a few minutes. Add this to the ready dosa batter.  Mix really well. Heat a tava. Add oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the hot pan. Spread it out in a circular motion to form a thin, even layer. Spread well. Add oil around the sides and cook until it is brown. Slowly flip over and let it cook well on the other side. Carefully remove it on a plate.


Serve crispy Potato Dosa  hot with chutney.

Adjust the spices/salt as per your taste and preferences.

Kohlrabi Carrot Dosa

Kohlrabi Carrot Dosa or Carrot Navil Kosu Dosa is a healthy, nutritious and filling breakfast.

Easy to make and enjoyed hot. Navil Kosu or Naval kol is known as Kohlrabi in English.


Ingredients


Salt as per taste

Oil

1/2 cup grated Navil Kosu
and grated carrot

Few Coriander Leaves

Green chillies-3-4 finely chopped

Jeera-1 tsp
Mustard-1/2 tsp
Hing-pinch

Method: 

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add asafoetida and curry leaves. Add grated carrot and sauté. Next add grated kohlrabi and salt. Cook until the kohlrabi is tender but not mushy. Keep it aside.

Take the ready dosa batter,  Add the above mix. Add coriander leaves.  Mix well.
Heat a dosa tawa (griddle) and pour a ladle of dosa batter on it. Spread the batter in a circular motion to make a thin dosa. Cook on medium heat until the dosa is crisp and golden brown on both sides.

Serve Kohlrabi Carrot Dosa hot with butter and chutney or Chutney powder of your choice. This is yet another tasty way to incorporate kohlrabi / carrot into your diet. Adjust the spice levels according to your preference.

Dill Leaves Dosa

Dill Leaves Dosa or Sabsige Soppina Dosa (Shepu/ शेपू dosa)  is an easy, quick and instant dosa variety. Made from Dill leaves (sabsige/shepu) is healthy, nutritious herb that we use for flavor and taste.

Ingredients

  • Dill Leaves Dosa
    Chiroti rava 1.5  cup
  • Rice flour - 1 tbsp
  • Maida - 1 tbsp
  • Curds-3 tbsp
  • Dil leaves, finally chopped - 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves-few
  • green chillies, finely chopped - 5-6
  • coconut, grated - 2 table spoon
  • jeera - 1 tsp
  • salt - as per taste
  • Coconut-3 tsp(opt)
  • Water

Method-

In a bowl, add rava, rice flour, maida and curds, next add chopped dil leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies ,jeera,salt and grated coconut, add water and mix well to form dosa batter. Keep it aside for 1/2 hr. Make dosa.

Serve crispy and healthy Dill Leaves Dosa or Sabsige Dosa hot with chutney of your choice.

Masala Uttapam

Masala Uttapam is easy and tasty dosa variety. This can be enjoyed over the weekend with the available dosa batter. 

The crispy Masala Uttapam is delicious, and healthy South Indian breakfast recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Dosa batter 2 cup
  • Coriander leaves
  • Jeera-1tsp
  • Grated Coconut-2 tsp
  • Oil
For Masala topping
  • Onion- 1/2 cup
  • Tomato-1/2 cup
  • Potato boiled-1/2 cup
  • Green Chilies-4-5
  • Red chili pwd-1 tsp
  • Salt for taste
  • Oil-1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Navil Kosu Dosa

Navil Kosu Dosa is a colourful and tasty blend of Navilkosu with onions and with spices in dosa flour. Navil Kosu or Naval kol is known as Kohlrabi in English. 

This vegetable is a rich source of Vitamin C and potassium along with providing other health benefits.

              Navil Kosu Dosa 

Ingredients 

Dosa flour         3 cups 
NavilKosu          1 cup grated
Onions 1 cup thinly sliced
Cilantro leaves   handful chopped
Coconut            little(opt)
Green chillies        5-6 (as per taste)
Jeera/ Cumin seeds      1 tsp
Oil                     2tbsp
Salt                   to taste
Water              ( as required)
Method
In a bowl mix dosa flour with chopped and grated veggies, chilies, Cumin /jeera, coriander leaves, coconut, add salt. Add warm water, mix well. 

Make dosa. Serve Navil Kosu Dosa hot with chutney or pickle of your choice.

Vegetable Adai Dosa

Vegetable Adai Dosa is made with a mix of healthy lentils, red chilies, peppercorns and flavored with dash of curry leaves and coconut. Adding the vegetables takes it to the next level of nutrition. You get an all-in-one healthy and heavy breakfast for a long hectic day. You can enjoy this delectable Vegetable Adai dose with chutney, chutney powder or sauce or you can enjoy it just like that

Adai batter also contains ginger, hing and methi seeds which helps in digestion. As the vegetable Adai is made slightly thicker, adding a bit more oil will make the dish only more tasty. Don't worry!

Ingredients


Moong dal+Tur dal+Urad dal-
Chana dal 1/2 cup

Rice -1 1/2 cups

Pepper-1/2 tsp

Jeera-1 tsp

Salt-as per taste

Red chillies-5-6

Hing-a pinch

Soaked Methi seeds-few


Ginger-small piece


Vegetables- onion, capsicum , carrot

(thinly shredded)

curry leave/coriander -for garnishing

Coconut-optional (adds taste)



 Method-  Soak rice/dals separately for 5-6 hrs. Next grind with pepper, jeera, salt, red chilies, hing, ginger, soaked methi seeds and mix well. Leave overnight. Next add the curry leaves/coriander leaves, coconut, onion, capsicum, carrot season with mustard seeds and then make dosa.

Serve Vegetable Adai Dosa hot with butter and  chutney / chutney pudi/ sauce of your choice.

Cucumber Dosa

Cucumber Dosa is an easy, quick dosa variety.  Simple variant from the simple cucumber , thin and crispy and yummy !   It’s a light, nutritious, and flavorful dish that’s perfect for breakfast or a snack, especially during warmer months.

  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Poha/avalakki - handful
  • Grated Cucumber-1 cup
  • Coriander leaves-few
  • Green chillies, finely chopped - 5-6
  • coconut, grated - 2 table spoon
  • jeera - 1 tsp
  • salt - as per taste
  • Water 

Method:  Soak rice, poha and methi seeds for few hours. Next grind them in a mixer. Once done , add cucumber ,chilies, jeera, coriander leaves, coconut and grind again so the batter blends well. Keep it for some time. Make dosas. Serve hot with chutney or pickle of your choice.

Onion Khara Dosa

Onion Khara Dosa (Khara: Masala in Kannada ) is healthy, nutritious and filling breakfast. This is a spicy version. Easy to make and enjoyed hot. 

A mix of regular dosa batter  with spices, onion and coconut to give the perfect crispy crepes.

Ingredients:

Dosa Batter
Salt as per taste
Oil
Jeera-1 tsp

To Grind
Coconut-1/4 cup
Red chillies-8-9
Tamarind juice - 1 tbsp
Hing: Pinch
Onion-1/2 cup



Method:

In a pan, fry the items mentioned in to grind.Blend it in mixer with less water. Next in a bowl , take the dosa flour, add the ground paste. Add salt. Mix well. Make dosas. Serve Onion Khara Dosa hot with butter and chutney of your choice.

Veggie Dosa

Veggie Dosa  is easy and tasty.One of the few varieties of dosas that can be enjoyed over the weekend with the available dosa batter.The crispy veggie  dosa is delicious and healthy mix to your diet.


Ingredients:
  • Dosa batter 2 cup
  • Veggie Mix 1 cup 
  • (carrot,capsicum,Onion finely chopped)
  • Green chilly 3-4 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves
  • Jeera-1tsp
  • Grated Coconut-2 tsp
  • Oil
Method: 
Mix the cut veggies, chillies, salt, jeera, coriander leaves, coconut and keep it ready. 
Spread dosa batter on the tawa, add the chopped ingredients on the top.
Add oil for making dosa.
Slowly flip over and let it cook on the other side.
Serve hot with chutney.

Tomato Onion Dosa is a yummy, spicy and  tangy flavored dosa easy to prepare. Enjoy hot.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Dosa Batter
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Onion
  • (finely chopped)
  • Sambhar pwd-2 tsp
  • Oil
  • mustard-1/2 tsp
  • Jeera-1tsp
  • Hing-pinch
  • Curry leaves-few
  • Salt to taste
  • Few Coriander leaves


Method: Tomato Onion Dosa Recipe

In a kadai,add oil,mustard, jeera, hing, curry leaves, next add onion fry well, add the tomatoes cook till mushy.
Add salt ,sambhar pwd and mix well.
Add this to the dosa batter, add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Make dosa.
Serve Tomato Onion Dosa hot with chutney of your choice.
