Aloo Peas Sandwich

    Aloo Peas Sandwich is a delicious and easy-to-make Indian sandwich that is made from a filling of spiced mashed potatoes and peas. Try it out ! A simple yet delicious sandwich made from humble potatoes!

  • Ingredients:
  •  Wheat Bread slices 
  •  Green chutney
  •  Butter
  • Ketchup
  • 1 Finely chopped onion
  • 1 boiled and chopped Potato
  • 1/4 cup steamed peas
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala pwd
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder 
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard
  • 1/2 jeera
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves 
  • Oil 

  • Method

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds, jeera and curry leaves.
  • Add chopped onions fry well, add peas and chopped potato and fry well.
  • Add red chili powder, garam masala, and salt and mix well.
  • Remove from heat and keep aside. 
  • Apply butter and green chutney on the bread, spread the vegetable mix on the bread, 
  • keep another slice over it.
  • Grill the sandwich. 
  • Serve Aloo Peas Sandwich with ketchup and chutney.

Green chutney

Method: 

In a bowl, add tomatoes, green chillies, salt, pepper powder, seasoning in a bowl and mix it well. Next add Mozzarella cheese and mix it again. Take bread slice and apply green chutney and butter. Place this mix on the bread slice, cover this with one more bread slice. Toast it in the toaster. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Potato Onion Masala Sandwich

Ingredients
    • 2 cups boiled grated potatoes
    • 1 cup- onions finely chopped
    • 1.5 tsp- garam masala
    • 1 tsp-kitchen king masala
    • Sandwich masala or Chaat masala
    • 8 Bread slices 
    • Butter
    • 1 green chilly finely chopped
    • Salt
    • Green Chutney
    • Ketchup
      Method: Prepare the potato onion stuffing, add salt, masala powders, sandwich masala, chilies, mix well.

      Take bread, apply butter and  green chutney, smear the potato stuffing, top it up with the slices of vegetables, add some chaat masala, cover with another chutney-butter spread bread. 

      Grill in toaster. 

      Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

      Cucumber Sandwich


      Cucumber Sandwich : eat it as snack or at picnics. Everyone loves it. Simple and easy. Simple lunch box recipe for kids.

      Ingredients:
      • Bread
      • Butter 
      • Cucumber slices
      • Pepper pwd for sprinkling






      Green Chutney:
      • 4-5 green chilies, chopped 
      • Coriander leaves, Mint leaves
      • Fresh grated coconut -1/2 cup
      • Roasted gram dal-hurikadle
      • 1 tsp. tamarind paste
      • Salt to taste

      Method: Grind all the chutney ingredients to a smooth paste with little water. Keep aside.

      Remove the edges of the bread slices, apply butter, green chutney, keep slices of cucumber evenly. Add some pepper powder. Apply butter, chutney and on 
      another bread slice,  place this on top layer. Toast it. Cut it in any shape and serve Cucumber Sandwich with ketchup.

      Ingredients: 

      Iyengar Bread Toast
      • Masala Bread slices
      • 1 carrot, grated
      • 1 onion, finely chopped 
      • 1 small capsicum, finely chopped 
      • 1  tomato, finely chopped 
      • chopped coriander leaves
      • 2 -3 green chilies, finely chopped 
      • 1 tsp red chili powder
      • 1/2 tsp chat masala 
      • 1/4 tsp Dhania-jeera pwd
      • Salt as per taste
      • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
      • Oil
      • Butter



      Method: Heat oil in a pan add jeera, then add finely chopped onions and green chilies and fry. Next add tomatoes and capsicum and fry well till soft. Add grated carrots, red chili powder, chat masala, a pinch of sugar, salt and mix well and cook for a minute. Add chopped coriander and tomato ketchup and mix well. Heat tava and toast bread on one side then apply this mixture liberally on that toasted side. Serve this toast hot.
