Balekayi Bajji / Raw Banana Bajji


 Balekayi Bajji / Raw Banana Bajji 
 is an interesting crisps variety made from Raw banana.  
 Blended with spices, it tastes delicious. 
 Do try on the rainy day with a hot cup of coffee.

 Ingredients
  • 1 cup besan / gram flour
  • Raw banana-thinly sliced-1 cup
  •  turmeric-pinch
  • Hing-pinch
  • 1 tsp Sarin pudi/ Chili pwd
  • 1/2 dhania jeera pwd
  • Salt- to taste
  • Water for mixing
  • oil for frying

Balekayi Bajji / Raw Banana Bajji
Method - Take a bowl 
combine all the ingredients 
and mix well. 
Add little water, 
add cut raw banana slices 
and mix well, 
the flour and slices 
should blend and 
be well coated. 
Heat a little oil and 
add it to this batter 
and mix it well.
Keep it for sometime. 
In a kadai heat sufficient oil for frying. 
Slowly add the besan 
mix in batches 
in the hot oil. 
Fry till golden brown 
on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. 

Serve hot crisp bhajias with ketchup or chutney of your choice.

Ingredients :
  • Fruits - A bowl of mixed fruit 
  • ( Apple, Banana, Mangoes, Orange)
  • Vanilla Ice cream - 1 scoop
  • Honey - 1 tsp
  • Dryfruits-few
  • Lemon juice-1/2 tsp
Method-  Mix the fresh chopped fruits (sans skin) and honey in a bowl, top it up with ice cream and dry fruits. Sprinkle fresh lemon juice over the top. Serve chilled.

You can put fruits of your choice.

Ingredients
  • Ripe Mango - 1
  • Banana-1
  • Milk - 1 cup 
  • Sugar - 2-3 tsp 
  • Elachi pwd-pinch

Method- Peel the mango and banana. Chop into small pieces. Add along with other  items in blender. Blend till smooth. Serve chilled.

      • 2 slices of bread 
      • 2 tbsp Nutella
      • 2 tbsp butter
      • 1 banana sliced

      Method-Toast the bread on tava or toaster using butter.Spread Nutella on the breads .Slice the banana and place it on top of the bread .Place another toasted bread on top .Reheat and serve hot.

      Ingredients

      cup Chiroti rava
      1/2 cup Milk
      cup Ghee

      tbsp Raisins

      tsp  Cardamom Powder/1 tsp kesar
      cup  Sugar/ Banana

      tbsp Cashew nut   
      • Method
      • Roast rava in the ghee till aromatic
      • Add sugar and warm  milk and lower the flame. Add  chopped bananas.Simmer and cover with lid till it blends in. 
      • Add raisins and cardamom powder to garnish.
      • Add fried cashew nuts and  kesar (opt)

    • Enjoy with little ghee on the top.
