Capsicum Sandwich 3

Capsicum Sandwich 3 is simple and easy to make. Enjoy as a quick snack or mini dinner.  

Ingredients
    • Dahi Capsicum Sabzi
    • a few chopped coriander leaves
    • Sandwich masala 
    • 8 Bread slices 
    • Butter
    • Salt
    • Green Chutney
    • Ketchup
      Method:


      Take bread, apply butter and  green chutney, add the capsicum mix ,add some sandwich masala, cover with another chutney-butter spread bread. Place it on the tava. Add butter and toast it well till it becomes golden  brown.
      Serve Capsicum Sandwich hot with chutney or ketchup. 
      You can also add cheese to make it more tastier.

      Achari Aloo Toast

      Achari Aloo Toast or Pickled Potato Toast is a simple and easy snack recipe made from humble bread and potatoes. The butter and spices makes this very delicious and tasty.  It’s the kind of bread toast that is crispy on the outside, soft and spicy with that achari punch that wakes up your taste buds. 

      Perfect with a cup of chai !!


      Ingredients 

      •     Bread slices - 4 
      •     Pickle - 2 tbsp
      •    Salt to taste
      •    Turmeric Powder - a pinch
      •    Dhania-Jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp
      •    Chat Masala - 1/2 tsp
      •    Butter 




      Method-In a bowl add the boil potato and mash it well, next add the pickle, masala powders, salt and mix well. Next heat a tava, meanwhile apply butter one side of the bread and on the other side apply the mashed potato spread. Put on the tava, toast the buttered side first until golden brown. Flip over and add butter and roast the potato side till golden brown. Serve potato toast hot with ketchup / pickle and hot cup of tea/coffee.

      Onion Cheese Garlic Bread

      7. Green chilies-1 finely chopped
      8. Herbs for topping
      9. Chili flakes for topping

      Method- Apply butter on the slices. Next top it with grated cheese, chopped onion, sprinkle pepper pwd, Italian seasoning, Toast on a tava or oven till the cheese melts. Load with herbs and chili flakes as per taste. Serve Onion Cheese Garlic Bread hot.

      Croissant Sandwich

      Ingredients: 

      • Croissants (cut in half )
      • 2 onion, finely chopped 
      • 2  tomatoes, finely chopped 
      • chopped coriander leaves
      • 2 -3 green chilies, finely chopped 
      • 1 tsp pepper pwd
      • Italian seasoning
      • Lime juice
      • Salt as per taste
      • Green chutney (coriander +mint)
      • Butter



      Method:  


      In a bowl add chopped onions, add tomatoes, 
      green chilies. Add red chili powder, a pinch of sugar, salt and mix well. Add chopped coriander, Italian seasoning, lime juice and mix well. Slice each croissant in half. Heat tava, lightly toast them on a tawa or pan with a bit of butter for crispness. On the inner side of both croissant halves, spread a layer of green chutney. Next carefully place this mixture. Cover and Serve hot. 




      Croissants are delicate — don’t overload them. Keep ingredients balanced for the best bite!

      Potato Corn Roll

      Ingredients


      3-4 boiled and grated potatoes
      Potato Corn Roll
      Potato Corn Roll

      1 cup steamed sweet corn
      1/2 tsp Pepper pwd
      1/2 tsp Dhania jeera pwd
      1/2 tsp chaat masala
      2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
      2 green chilies finely chopped
      6-7 bread slices
      bread crumbs
      salt to taste 
      Oil for deep frying

      Method-

      Mix mashed potatoes, corn, masala pwd, salt.
      Dip bread in little water, squeeze ,add it to the mix, shape into small rolls or any shape you like , pat it accordingly. 
      Dip it on bread crumbs. Coat it well.
      Set it for some time. 
      Heat oil in a vessel , slowly slide in deep fry the crisps on medium 
      flame till they are golden brown in color. 
      Remove on tissue/absorbent paper to remove any  excess oil. 
      Serve Potato Corn Roll hot with ketchup .

      Packed with the goodness of potatoes, the sweetness of corn, and a blend of spices, they’re a real treat ! Do try it out!!

      Paneer Bread Roll

      Ingredients:

      • 2 Potatoes boiled and grated
      • 1/4 cup steamed peas
      • 1/2 cup mix steamed veg 
      • (beans, carrot, onion ,capsicum)
      • 9-10 Bread Slices 
      • Finely chopped Coriander leaves 
      • Finely chopped Green chilies
      • 1/2 tsp Red chili pwd
      • 1/4th tsp Garam Masala pwd
      • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
      • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
      • 1/4 cup grated paneer
      • 1/4 tsp jeera
      • Salt for taste
      • Oil for frying
      • Binding
      • Flour paste for binding.
      •  (1 tbsp corn flour+milk)
      • Bread crumbs

      • Method: 

      • Add salt, jeera, all the masalas mentioned above in the ingredients to the mashed potatoes, peas, mix veggies, paneer and mix well. Take some water in a bowl and dip a bread slice for few seconds. Squeeze the water from the bread by pressing between palms gently. Place  the veggie filling over the damp bread and roll over and seal the edges of the bread covering it completely. Ensure it is neatly covered.
      • You can make it any shape.  I have made rolls.
      • Next dip it in flour paste. Next roll it over bread crumbs covering it fully. Set it aside for some time. Heat oil in a kadhai, slowly add the roll in the oil and deep fry on medium flame till golden brown. Remove and place it over absorbent tissue. 
      • Adjust the spices as per your taste and preferences.

      Sandwich Toast

      Sandwich Toast : eat it as brunch, snack or at picnics. Everyone loves it. There are various ways of making it. This one is simple and easy.

      Sandwich Toast

      Ingredients:
      • Bread
      • Butter 
      • 1 cucumber, sliced
      • 2 tomatoes, sliced
      • 1 boiled potato sliced
      • Chaat masala
      • Tomato ketchup
      Green Chutney:

      • 4-5 green chillies, chopped 
      • Coriander leaves, Mint
      • 2 tbsp. grated coconut (opt)
      • or roasted gram dal
      • 1 tsp. tamarind or lemon juice
      • Salt to taste

      Method: 

      Grind all the chutney ingredients to a smooth paste with little water. Keep aside.
      Remove the edges of the bread slices, apply butter, green chutney and place sliced cucumber, tomato, potato, sprinkle pepper pwd, salt, chaat masala. Apply butter, chutney and little ketchup on another bread slice, place this on top layer. Place it on the toaster and let it toast well. 
      Cut it in triangle shape and serve the sandwich hot.

      Reduce the salt/spice as per your taste and preferences.

      Vada Pav

      Below is the recipe 


      Aloo Vada

      Ingredients
       
      1cup gram flour (besan)
      Vada Pav

      2 tbsp Rice flour
      Salt to taste
      1/4 tsp Garam Masala 
      1/4 tsp dhania jeera pwd
      1 tsp hot oil
      Water


      2 Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
      4-5 Green Chilies (chopped)
      Coriander leaves -few
      Curry leaves-few
      Mustard-1/2 tsp
      Jeera -1/2 tsp
      Chana dal-1/2 tsp
      Urad dal-1/2 tsp
      Hing-pinch
      Turmeric pwd-pinch
      lemon juice-1 tsp
      Oil for frying

      • Method -In a kadai, make the seasoning with mustard, jeera ,chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, hing, green chillies. Once done add the mashed potatoes, salt and mix well .Make small balls of this mixture. Next in a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, little salt, masala pwds, hot oil. Add little water and  make a batter for the vadas. Dip each ball in the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Keep it ready in a plate.

      Ingredients: 

      Pav - 8
      Butter- for toasting
      Green Chutney
      Sweet Chutney
      Dry Garlic Chutney (opt)


      Serving Method:

      Slice each pav horizontally .Spread green chutney on one side of the pav and tamarind chutney on the other side. Place a Aloo Vada between the pav halves. Add dry garlic chutney on top if req. Close the pav and press to seal. On a tava, add butter , roast the assembled Vada pav on the tava lightly. Your home made Vada pav is ready for serving. You can enjoy Vada Pav just like that or with chutney and sauce.

      Besan Aloo Toast

      Besan Aloo Toast  is a interesting recipe made from spicy besan batter (gram flour) with potato sabzi topped on bread.  A yummy and crunchy snack is ready in no time.

      Ingredients:
      Besan/gram flour-1 cup
      Besan Bread Toast, Bread Besan toast, Aloo toast
      Besan Aloo Toast 

      Bread slices-4-5
      Green chillies-1-2 (opt)
      turmeric pwd-pinch
      Hing-pinch
      Red chilli pwd-1/4 tsp
      Garam masala-1/4 tsp
      Jeera-1/2 tsp
      Carom seeds-1/2 tsp
      salt as required
      water (mixing the batter)

      oil- for frying 


        Method- 
        In a bowl, mix all ingredients except bread and potato sabzi. Add little water and mix well, ensure no lumps are present. Cut the bread into halves. Take the bread slices, apply the potato sabzi on top of it, spread the besan batter on the bread slices, using a knife and spread all over. (or dip the bread in the besan batter ) Next heat oil in a kadai, carefully drop the bread with the batterside. Once it is slightly brown, fry the other side. 
        Serve Besan Aloo Toast hot with chutney or ketchup.
