Tomato Peas Biryani is easy and quick one pot meal. Spicy and tasty!

- Basmati rice 1 cup
- Tomato 2 chopped and pureed
- Onion 1 chopped
- Peas- steamed 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
- Green chillies-1-2
- Biryani Masala 1 tsp
- Garam masala-1 tsp
- Dhania Jeera pwd-1 tsp
- Salt
- Water
- Coconut milk-1 tbsp
Seasoning
- Oil + Ghee 2 tblsp
- Elachi 1
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Clove 1
- Bay leaf 1
- Cashew nuts-few
Method-
Soak basmati rice for at least 1 hour.(follow instructions on pkt). Heat a pressure cooker/pan with oil and add all items under seasoning. Add green chillies, onions and fry well. Add ginger garlic paste, and fry for a minute. Then add tomato puree, steamed peas. Add salt, tumeric, Biryani masala powder and mix.
Add rice and water, add coconut milk and pressure cook.
