Cucumber Tomato Raita


Cucumber Tomato Raita is made from yogurt/curds or dahi. It is normally served as dip/side dish. It provides cooling effect and has a nice taste. 

Yogurt is one of the immunity booster food that contains vitamins and minerals and more.


Ingredients 
  • Cucumber chopped - 1 cup
  • Tomato chopped -1 cup
    Cucumber Tomato Raita

  • Green chili - 1-2
  • Chat masala-1/2 tsp
  • Red chili pwd-1 tsp
  • Dhania-jeera pwd-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves-few
  • Thick Curds- 1 big cup
  • Salt for taste

Seasoning

  • Mustard - 3/4 tsp
  • Hing/asafetida - pinch
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Oil

Method 

In a bowl, add chopped cucumber, tomatoes, add masala pwds, chilies, add curds and mix. Next prepare the seasoning adding the items mentioned above. Add to the curds, add salt and mix well
 
Serve  Cucumber Tomato Raita with parathas or pulao.
