Crispy Karela fry is a simple ,spicy vegetable side dish for Chapati or Rasam Rice. Hagalkayi in Kannada or Karela has its distinct bitter taste but once blended with masala it tastes awesome. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
Crispy Karela Fry / Bitter Gourd Fr |
- Bhath Pwd-2 tsp
- Sambhar pwd-1 tsp
- Tumeric-pinch
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2-3 tbsp
- Bitter Gourd-3-4 (thinly sliced)
Method:
Slice the bitter gourd in to thin slices,add bhath and sambhar powder,salt and turmeric and blend well
Heat oil in a pan and add the slices and fry till it becomes brown or crisp.
