Crispy Karela Fry / Bitter Gourd Fry

Crispy Karela fry is a simple ,spicy vegetable side dish for Chapati or Rasam Rice. Hagalkayi in Kannada or Karela has its distinct bitter taste but once blended with masala it tastes awesome. Enjoy.

Slice the bitter gourd in to thin slices, add bhath and sambhar powder, salt and turmeric and blend well
 Heat oil in a pan and add the slices and fry till it becomes brown or crisp.

Enjoy Crispy Karela Fry with hot rasam rice or chapati


Adjust the spices and salt as per your taste and preferences.
