Paneer Peas Masala is delicious gravy that can be enjoyed with Indian breads. Interesting Sabzi variety of paneer and peas blended in various spices.
Ingredients:
Paneer Peas Masala |
- Green Peas steamed-1/2 cup
- Frozen Paneer or Cottage Cheese –
- 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
- Oil – 1tbsp
- Turmeric Powder – pinch
- Dhaniya Jeera pwd- 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala pwd – 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
- Jeera or Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Onion - 1 cup chopped
- Tomato –1 cup chopped
- Salt-for taste
- Milk Cream – 1-2 tsp
- Cashews-few
Method- Roast cashew, onion(little) and chilies. Grind it into smooth paste. Grind the tomatoes into puree. Heat oil fry paneer.Remove and keep it aside. Next,add oil, add cumin seeds, add onions and fry well. Add the ginger garlic paste, masala pwd, cashew paste and fry well. Add tomato and let it cook for 2-3 mins, add the peas and fried paneer . Add salt and cook till the gravy is done and blended well. Lastly add cream. Simmer on low heat Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Indian breads.
