Red Pumpkin Paratha

 Red Pumpkin Paratha a good healthy kickstart for your busy life.Hot chapatis blended with spicy pumpkin masala.A perfect lunch box recipe.Kids will enjoy this .

Red Pumpkin Paratha
  • 1 cup  wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp  cumin seeds/carom seeds
  • 1 /2 tsp turmeric 
  • 1 -2 tsp chilli powder/garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp jeera dhania powder
  • 1 1/2 cup mashed boiled pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • Water to bind


In a bowl, add the above ingredients  in a bowl and mix ,next add enough flour ,add water as required and knead into soft dough.Cover and keep it aside.Make chapatis.Heat a skillet (tava) , gently put in the chapati add oil ,turn on both sides till done.Serve very hot with raita or pickle.
