Crispy Karela Fry / Bitter Gourd Fry

Crispy Karela fry is a simple ,spicy vegetable side dish for Chapati or Rasam Rice.Hagalkayi in Kannada or Karela has its distinct bitter taste but once blended with masala it tastes awesome.Enjoy.


Ingredients:
Crispy Karela Fry / Bitter Gourd Fry

  • Bitter Gourd-3-4 (thinly sliced)
  • Bhath Pwd-2 tsp
  • Sambhar pwd-1 tsp
  • Tumeric-pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp


Method:
Slice the bitter gourd in to thin slices,add bhath and sambhar powder,salt and turmeric and blend well Heat oil in a pan and add the slices and fry till it becomes brown or crisp.Enjoy with hot rasam rice or chapati.
(You can remove the seeds)
