Ingredients
- Split Moong dal 1 cup
Onion-chopped-1/2 cup
Moong Paddu - Coconut shreds-2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Hing-pinch
- ginger-small piece
- Green chillies 1-2 (finely chopped)
- Jeera-1/2 tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves
Method-
Soak moong dal for 2-4 hours. Grind it to a smooth paste with ginger, Jeera,hing, green chillies to form a fine batter. Add salt, chopped coriander leaves. Add onions and coconut. Next apply oil to the paddu tava and pour the batter in the holes of tava and keep it on low flame. Cover. Once done turn it over and cook the other side.
Serve Moong Paddu hot with chutney of your choice.
