Onion Rings is yummy and tasty crisps made from thinly sliced ( ring shaped) onions in seasoned lentil flour batter. Enjoy sizzling hot cripsy onion rings with tea just anytime...
2 onions
(peeled and thinly sliced)
For Batter
1 cup Besan (chick pea flour)
1 tsp Rice flour
½ tsp red chili pwd
1 tsp bhath pwd
1 tsp ajwain
turmeric-pinch
Salt for taste
hot oil-1/2 tsp
Chili flakes-pinch
Mixed herbs-pinch
For Frying
Oil

Method: -Take a bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well. Add little water, and make the mix. Heat 1/2 tsp oil and add it to the batter. Add the sliced onions to the batter, and mix well, the flour and onions should be well coated .
In a kadai heat sufficient oil for frying. Slowly add the sliced onion flour mix in the hot oil. Fry till golden brown on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot crisp fried onion rings with ketchup or chutney of your choice.
