Aloo Simla Mirch Peanut masala

Aloo Simla Mirch Peanut masala is a delicious combination for Indian breads. It can be made in variety of ways. This Indian vegetarian sabzi is made by blending aloo and simla mirch in roasted peanut masala powder.

The soft potatoes, crunchy bell peppers, and the rich, nutty flavor of the peanut powder come together in perfect harmony, making it an ideal side dish for any meal. It’s simple to prepare yet packed with nutrition and taste, perfect for a quick dinner or lunch.

Aloo Simla Mirch Peanut masala

Ingredients

1 potatoes (boiled and diced)
2 capsicums 
1/2 tsp cumin seed 
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp chana dal
1/2 tsp urad dal
Hing pinch
1/2 tsp red chili powder 
1 tsp turmeric powder 
1/2 tsp dhania jeera powder 
1 tsp Bhath powder
2 tsp Peanut powder
few coriander leaves (finely chopped) 
1-2 tbsp Oil
Salt 


  • Method-

  • Roast peanut well in a kadai.Ground it in the mixer and keep it aside.(You can also add red chillies along with it)
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and mustard, chana dal,urad dal ,hing, and fry till done ,add capsicum and sauté for some time. Next add diced potatoes ,the masala pwd ,salt and mix well till done. 
  • Garnish  with coriander leaves and serve Aloo Simla Mirch Peanut masala hot with naan or roti.
Adjust salt and spices as per your taste and preferences.
