Tomato Omelette

Tomato omelette is simple and easy recipe.The mix of onion and tomato with spices makes it yummy and tasty. Also known as Besan ka Cheela , a healthy nutritious breakfast.

  • Tomato -1 large (chopped)
  • Onion -1 medium sized
  • (chopped)
  • Rava - 1-2 tbsp
  • Besan- 1 cup
  • Salt -for taste
  • Red Chilly powder -1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1pinch
  • Green chillies -3-4 finely chopped 
  • curry leaves few
  • Jeera -1 tsp
  • Water

Method- In a bowl, add rava, besan flour,next add chopped onion,tomato,coriander leaves,green chillies ,jeera,salt add water and mix well to form thick dosa batter.Keep it aside for 1-2 hrs.Make the omelette.Add oil and let it cook well.Once done serve hot with chutney or pickle /sauce of your choice or enjoy with bread.
