Kaju Peas Masala

Kaju Peas Gravy (Cashew nuts with peas) is delectable and rich spicy side dish that can be enjoyed with Indian Breads.

Kaju Peas Masala
Kaju Peas Gravy
1/4 cup Cashew Nuts (roasted)
1/2 cup peas steamed
1 tomato (pureed)
1 /2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

1 tsp dhani jeera pwd
1 tsp red chilli pwd
1 tsp garam masala 
1/2 kasuri methi crushed (everest)
1/2 tbsp Fresh Cream (Opt)
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp jeera
Few Coriander leaves
Salt to taste

For Grinding
1 onion chopped
1/4 tsp  Cinnamon pwd
1-2 Cloves
1-2 green chillies
5-6 cashews
1 pod elachi

Method-Grind all the ingredients listed under grinding list into fine paste with little water. Keep it aside.Heat oil in pan,add oil/ghee ,add jeera,the onion paste and stir on low flame for 5 mins.Next add in the masala pwds,ginger garlic paste and stir for 2-3 mins.Add the tomato puree and mix well.Add salt ,steamed peas and little water and cook for some time.Add the roasted cashew nuts ,let the gravy cook for 5-7 mins on low flame.Garnish with coriander leaves .Serve hot with any Indian Breads.
