  • Spinach Patties or Palak patties is healthy and nutritious snack made from palak leaves ,potatoes with spices. Enjoy it with chutney or ketchup over a hot cup of tea. Spinach or Palak provides healthy nutrients and is rich in iron, vitamins and minerals. It is very important for overall health including skin, hair etc. It is one of the immunity booster foods.


  • Ingredients:
  • 1/2 spinach finely chopped
  • 1 Potato boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2-4 Green Chilies
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves
  • Oil for shallow fry
Method: Add finely chopped spinach mashed potatoes ,ginger garlic paste,chaat masala,garam masala powder and mix well  along with few coriander leaves, chili and chat masala.Next add bread crumbs and mix. Flatten them into desired shape.You can roll over on chiroti rava or bread crumbs.Heat tava,frying pan shallow fry  until golden brown and crisp,keep flipping over.Serve with chutney or ketchup.

You can add bread pieces to bind it well.
