Palak Pakoda /Spinach Pakora

Spinach Pakora or Palak Pakoda is yummy and tasty.Pakora is a favorite Indian starter/appetizer.Enjoy this healthy spinach version with hot cup of tea.


Spinach Pakora

  • 1 fresh Palak(spinach)-finely chopped
  • 1 cup Gram Flour(Besan)
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 Onion(chopped)
  • 3-4 Green Chilly
  • 1-2 tsp Red Chilly Pwd
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • few-coriander leaves
  • Water
  • Oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients with little water to form the  dough.Add 1 tsp heated oil to the dough and mix well.Heat oil,make pakora. Fry it till turns golden brown.Drain the oil and serve hot with ketchup or chutney of your choice.
